1. Why did you decide to become an entrepreneur?

Social entrepreneurship allowed us to merge creativity, social messaging, and independence within our company. Since the beginning, our ambition has been to establish a business that promotes and builds the prestige of Romani culture and at the same time supports marginalised people by giving them employment opportunities.

2. How did you succeed as an entrepreneur?

Since we started this journey, we managed to articulate powerful visual messages that build bridges between Roma and non-Roma. Being open, cooperative and flexible have all played an important role in strengthening our company.

3. What achievements have you accomplished as an entrepreneur?

Romani Design is a unique fashion label not just in Europe, but globally as well. Our brand and its visibility inspires many Romani young people and fashionistas alike and thus provides insights into Romani culture and values in an entirely different way.

4. What advice can you give to young Roma with regards to how to succeed in entrepreneurship?

Be patient and realise your dreams step by step. It is important that you remain proud of your identity and culture.

5. Who is your role model?

Frida Kahlo. She always remained true to herself and her truth despite extremely difficult life circumstances.
